Since 2019, Fondazione Aurora, in partnership with Amref Health Africa, have supported DFC providing high-quality audiovisual equipment, technical assistance, business internationalization and social media/website consultancy. Fondazione Aurora has also been a client of DFC committing photography material.

Dagoretti Film Centre is owned by Amref Health Africa under its child protection and development center in Dagoretti. From 2013, DFC has produced a number of project documentaries and photo stories of Amref work in Kenya, Italy, Tanzania, Zambia , Uganda, Ethiopia and South Africa

Youth in Action has worked with Dagoretti Film Centre since 2017 to develop youth-led content such as the Meaningful Youth Engagement (MYE) score-card which is in the form of a comic strip. In March 2019, the Film Centre was engaged in developing a promotion film for the youth agenda at the Africa Health Agenda International Conference in Kigali, Rwanda. The Film crew utilized an innovative road caravan approach and traveled with the youth by road from Nairobi Kenya to Kigali Rwanda collecting messages from youth in communities along the route.

MAY 28TH – 2021 AMREF Dagoretti Film Centre partnered with UNWOMEN, STATEHOUSE and the Ministry of Public Service and Gender to carry out audio visual – LIVE virtual streaming for the launch of Generation Equality forum in Kenya. H.E  the President of the Republic of Kenya, Mr. UHURU MUIGAI KENYATTA was the key guest speaker followed by UN Women Executive Director – Madam Phumzile Mlambo – Ngcuka, Ms Josephine Gauld – Deputy Commissioner – British High Commission in  Kenya etc.

Unicef Kenya has partnered with Amref Dagoretti Children Development Centre since 2011 to support child Protection programmes in Nairobi Kenya. In 2016-2018, DFC produced a feature film ‘The Cut’ which won an Award of ‘Best Feature Film’ in Florence Italy and  received over 20 official selections in different film festivals  across the globe.

In 2013, DFC produced 4 project documentaries across four region in Kenya, Western, Eastern and Central to evaluate  the impact of agribusiness through Kenya Horticultural Competitiveness programme (KHCP), a USAID project  in partnership GOK and Amref.

In 2016-2017, UNFPA FUNDED Emergency response and Election Preparedness in Samburu, Isiolo and Tana River Counties. 2017 DFC produced  two (2) documentaries on Family Planning and Gender based Violence.

The agency has supported Amref Dagoretti Child Development Centre. In 2013/2014, Through the funds from the Agency, DFC produced a TV series ‘Child 4 Hire’ which scooped an Award at  Kalasha International Film Festival, 2015.

WAK has partnered and engaged DFC in developing and producing  community-led  film content  that has been used to educate the community on ‘community led total sanitation’ (CLTS)

In 2018, DFC produced project documentaries and photo stories on training of Nurses through  e-learning, a programme implemented by collaboration of the Ministry of Health in Zambia, Mastercard international, Amref Health Africa and Child Fund Zambia.

DFC produced a documentary on Kenya Innovative and Sustainable Solutions for Midwives Education and Employment, a  Social Enterprise Model Intervention geared towards improving MNCH for Danone Ecosystem and Danone Nutricia from France  in partnership with Amref University.

Since 2018, DFC has partnered with E4Impact Accelerator in developing a business plan for DFC. In 2019, DFC produced online tutorials on entrepreneurship.

DFC produced promotional and marketing videos for its Cyber Security and Technical Acceleration Program in Kenya.
